 Hi Pidgin-Team,

 in short words: please implement an integrated update-function that users
 can update without installing the whole application new.

 It is the only thing which is so anoying with pidgin. The update-cycle is
 too short to let the users install the whole application again... and
 again ... and again. Additionally the installer always places new
 shortcuts everywhere but I still have the old one at another place
 (startmenu). So I have to delete GTK-blablabla and pidgin shortcut and so
 on.

 This is what really makes this application not advisable. All my friends
 ask, why should I install the whole program again? This is too time-
 consuming. And it really is.
