 I tried to add a "Gizmo" SIP account to pidgin-2.3.1, compiled for my
 desktop from MTN's v2.3.1 tag:

 Username: nix_nix_nix
 Server: proxy01.sipphone.com
 [X] Save Password

 When I clicked "Save", it eventually crashed. I'm attaching a transcript
 of the stuff that happened on the terminal, including a backtrace towards
 the end, and a paste of the configure switches as recorded in
 config.status.
