 I've been using the plug-in since it started being shipped with Pidgin,
 but didn't see this bug until yesterday, when I decided to re-update my
 MySpace contact list from the server with Pidgin 2.3.1.

 I can confirm that disabling the plug-in makes the reordering problem go
 away.
