 I don't see how that's possible. Pidgin is on the whitelists for my
 firewall, DriveSentry. [Comodo Firewall is currently on the fritz so
 that's an issue I'm still trying to fix]

 Comodo Antivirus, Spyware Guard, Spybot S&D/or Comodo Antimalware,

 Firefox 1.5 is my main browser, Opera is my secondary browser, Avant is my
 thirdary browser. I try not to use Avant unless I really need to, as its
 IE-based and Firefox is more secure even with IE View/IE Tab.

 I'll run a bunch of scans and see if there's anything else involved. It'll
 be a headache if I have to look over every log my firewall and software
 makes just to help me figure out what changed recently. This is driving me
 nuts because only Pidgin is affected and its the only all-in-one messenger
 I prefer.
