 Intermittent crash on exit started shortly after 2.3.0 was installed.
 Crashes seem to be correlated with level of system activity, i.e. the more
 active the system is the more likely the crash. Crashes occur even if the
 load is light.

 The debug version is not installed. I compared a Windbg stack trace to
 pidgin2.RPT above. It is easy to see why the windows debug information
 isn't very useful. Frame groups (corresponding to threads?) are
 intermingled. There is a correspondence between process contexts. I have a
 few extra GUI frames (libgtk_win32).

 Could the problem be a race condition?

 Let me know if additional debugging information would be helpful. I'll
 install the debug version, turn on logging and attempt to generate a crash
 under know system conditions. Maybe collect system performance data and
 trace would be useful.
