 A friend of mine on GTalk (XMPP) put this as her status. The below,
 between the dashes, is copy-pasted from the Pidgin "Get Info" window.

 When I click on the URL, Pidgin immediately stops responding. It doesn't
 crash, it just stops responding. When I kill it, it will not restart until
 I've rebooted. The process comes up in Task Manager, but Pidgin never
 appears.

 I'm running Windows XP with all the latest patches, Pidgin 2.3.1, and
 Firefox is my default browser. I only have one non-default plugin
 installed, MusicTracker 0.4.1.

 I don't have any debug info or dumps because Pidgin isn't crashing, only
 freezing. If I can be of any assistance in getting more info, please let
 me know.
