 To clarify this issue and what the fix does:
 Meanwhile by default uses fairly honest values to identify itself. When
 "Hide client identity" is checked, there are three options passed to the
 Meanwhile session which make it identify itself differently. Pidgin has
 three hidden settings in your Meanwhile account (with hard-coded defaults
 if the settings are not specified) indicating how it should lie to the
 server. Adding the account settings above to accounts.xml will tell pidgin
 exactly how you'd like it to lie.

 On Saturday I committed a change to use the new values as the default lie
 when "Hide client identity" is enabled, so the next release will no longer
 require these three account options in order to get around this filtering.

 Oh, and for you poor folks suffering through these incompetent blocking
 measures, make sure that you've completely quit Pidgin before attempting
 to edit accounts.xml, as Pidgin will not see your changes if it is already
 running, and will in fact overwrite the file from its internal accounts
 data when it exits, destroying any changes you may have made.
