 This is a pretty important feature because with the Oscar protocol, if two
 directly connected users drop enough packets, the connection will be lost
 and messages that are sent won't be delivered.  No errors will be
 reported.  To combat this, many people will directly connect, send a few
 images, and then disconnect.  Not including a "disconnect" option
 hamstrings the "direct connect" feature in Pidgin for these users.
