Comment:

 Yes but I think I see the problem, the text box is pushed down out of
 sight of the window in vista probably the aero interface having its way
 with the gtk windows height value? But anyway, ill upload a picture from
 xp, which doesnt do this bug, but you can see how the text box might
 become hidden off of the form.
