 Nobody is saying you need 5 years of experience in C or undocumented
 protocols. I have neither NOW and certainly did not when I became a
 developer.

 If you want to tackle this project, start by checking out the existing .vv
 branch, compile it, look at the code, and start hacking on some part you
 understand. If you don't want to tackle this project, then please wait
 until someone else does the work or use another client.
