Comment:

 I was joking when I said we should just slap a license onto the existing
 content — we obviously need to contact each person.  I'm inclined to think
 that a content license such as one of the CC licenses (of which I think
 attribution-sharealike best matches the uses we presumably want to allow
 is probably a better choice than the GPL, mainly for the "what's the
 source" reason.

 However, we might at some point in the future want to adapt some of the
 contents of the wiki to produce documentation to be shipped with Pidgin,
 so it'd be prudent to pick a license that's DFSG- (and Fedora-, etc) free.
