 This is essentially the same bug as #1645, I think -- for that user,
 however, 2.0.2 and a correct encoding preference fixed the buddy list
 tooltip.  It looks to me like you have the same bug, from the text showing
 up in your screen shots, so I'm not clear why it wasn't fixed for you.  Is
 there any chance that you can get me a packet capture of this connection?
