 I fail to see how requiring the user to press enter after clicking a
 message link severely limits functionality. The link still serves its
 purpose, and the message still gets sent.

 As an example, mailto: links have the same functionality (filling out the
 recipient, subject, body, etc), yet you don't see mail clients auto-
 sending the messages as soon as you click the link -- that would be A Bad
 Idea. IMO, aim: links fall into the same category of not wanting them to
 automatically send messages.

 *shrug* But maybe I'm the only one who thinks that's a problem.
