 Pidgin uses ~100% cpu power 1 or 2 seconds after connecting to my ICQ
 user. Successfully connects to an MSN account.

 This bug first occured when I installed the ubuntu package
 (Gaim2.0.0beta6) - the same thing happened. I removed the package through
 the package manager (which apparently did not remove ~/.gaim), and
 installed pidgin from source using this guide:
 http://jhcore.com/2007/06/04/install-pidgin-in-ubuntu/ .

 I have tried renaming ~/.purple and ~/.gaim and creating the account
 again, but once it connects it again gets stuck. I have to kill the
 process through a terminal.

 I've tried to perform a backtrace but not sure I did it right (can be seen
 [http://pastebin.com/944941 here] and also attached).

 Please help.
