 I use several computers at home and often miss incoming messages as I am
 using a computer other than that which is running Adium.

 It would be nice if one could have a pidgin-server which connects servers
 and relays conversations to it's clients. From a user view I would have
 identical Pidgins/Adiums on all my computers and could start a
 conversation on one computer and move to the next.

 Some extra handling which is the current client would be needed. Such as
 hooking into inactivity sensoring. If one computer is active and the other
 is not the inactive one could be configured to not pop up windows etc. On
 the other hand one would perhaps want the window to be there to be able to
 chat from both as one user.

 File transfer could be tricky.
