Comment:

 I'm not sure which version of GTK+ I have. Under C:\Program Files\Common
 Files\GTK+ there's just one folder labeled '2.0'. I'm not sure exactly
 what that implies.

 When I try to install Pidgin, it only asks me if I want to install a
 'newer version of GTK+', it didn't say which version it was. I'll try the
 standalone.
