Comment:

 The lack of a name for the buddy is odd.  Do you know which client is the
 buddy using?
 This would happen if there wasn't a First or Last name specified by the
 client.

 The grouping behavior is by design - Bonjour buddies are not saved in the
 buddy list, so nothing about them persists between logins (apart from
 logs).  This could probably be improved so that the buddy would only be
 saved if you did something to it, but that would be an enhancement.
