 not really...
 i got Link to newspaperarticel and this i copied to some (10) friends...
 and so i had a lot of tabs in conversation-window so that were an arrow at
 the right to scroll and i got a lot of answers, too...
 in the the crash report you see that pidgin crashed 2. time with the same
 link and same error...
 i think this doesnt help you, does it? ;)
