 I concur that making pounces contact-aware and doing what we can in the
 wiki and the About page of pidgin.im to make users more aware of contacts
 and their benefits would be the correct thing to do here.  Also having
 some limited support for "autopersonizing" or "autocontactizing",
 whichever we prefer to call it these days, would help make this more
 useful (although I'm not a huge fan of the autopersonize stuff).
