 Actually, it turns out that the cost is less that even I thought it would
 be. Turns out to be under 30 lines of code. Anyhoo, if you want to include
 the patch at any point (complete with a configuration option), it can be

 Took me 2 hours to create the patch. I would assume (without looking at
 the plugin api) that it wouldn't be much longer to wrap it in a plugin.
