 I'd like to request that the priority of this bug be upgraded from minor.
 This *constantly* causes seg faults for me when chatting in IRC, and I
 know of at least one person who I recommended pidgin to, stop using it,
 because of this bug.

 Just saying, it's not a theoretical bug. It crashes a *lot*.
