Comment:

 I don't think this is actually a bug.

 If you want the room configuration to persist, you should select the "Make
 room persistent" preference in the  "configure room" dialog.

 The "Add Chat" settings only apply to joining a chat, not to creating one
 - persistent settings related to a room are stored on the server, not on
 the client.
