 The typical usage scenario I have is that I have a buddy list where I
 mostly ignore new messages, but there's a select few that I'd like to
 notify me (wife, boss, real friends, etc).  So I have Pidgin set to Always
 Hide new IM conversations and I setup Buddy Pounces for when a special
 person sends me a message.  The problem is that the buddy pounce setting
 of Open IM Window doesn't seem to override the global Always Hide new IM
 conversations setting, so I added a pop up notification.  But this pops up
 a window every time they say something, since I'm also using recurring to
 make sure I don't have to re-populate the pounce list.

 So ideally, there would be a new option for "Pounce When Buddy...":
 Initiates Conversation.  That way, you can have it recurring and it only
 bugs you when the IM window isn't already open.
