Comment:

 You were seeing your moved buddies getting *deleted* from the groups you
 moved them to? And not just also added back to the group they were in in
 the first place? Can you get the Debug Window XML of that transaction? I
 imagine I know what was happening but I would like to confirm. Though if
 I'm right you shouldn't have been seeing them being deleted or pidgin
 wasn't responding to failures in the first place.
