 Good catch.  Here are the concise steps to reproduce the crash, for anyone
 curious:
 1. Using Pidgin, sign into an AIM account and join a chat room
 2. Using any client, sign into that same AIM account from another location
 3. Send a message in the chat room in Pidgin
