Comment:

 The debug output doesn't contain an actual backtrace (you need to type `bt
 full` when the Segmentation fault actually occurs).  It also looks like
 you installed the `-debuginfo` for pidgin from a different version than
 what you're using (which will result in a innaccurate backtrace).
