 Another issue: If you talk to Joe Doe via XMPP joedoe at jabber.example.org,
 and due to some server issues Joe switches to AIM, then a new log is
 opened (though not a new conversation window) instead of the old log file
 being continued. This is suboptimal, since the design guidelines tell to
 »hide protocols from the user as much as possible«.
