 Forgive me if this has already been brought up, or if the developers think
 this ought to be a plugin instead of a part of Pidgin, but: Would it be
 possible to add a preference to hide existing conversations when away?

 Currently a preference allows you to hide new conversations when status is
 changed to away -- would it be hard to also allow the ability to
 automatically hide existing conversations?  (I realize the existence of
 the hideconv plugin, but that requires you to manually hide all
 conversations -- what I am imagining would be automatic.)
