 THis may not be helpful, but i know just from browsing the forum, it is
 often recommended to update one GTK+ to remedy it. while i know its listed
 on the SF browse all files, i believe Pidgin is moving away from SF.
 Perhaps put a link with a date of last update in the download section? Or
 is there a way for Pidgin to check for anupdate of the GTK+ as it does for
 Pidgin?
