 The contact alias is already shown in the tab bar; the infopane ''is'' for
 extra buddy details such as account, I think. Many people (see #414 :-) )
 want the protocol/actual account for some reason, and although it doesn't
 make sense to have it in the buddy list, it can be useful in the
 conversation window.
