 I am using version 2.1 of pidgin and have a problem with the stun server.
 For me pidgin does not query it until I open the settings window.
 I did run 'pidgin -d | grep stunserver.com' and how long I waited, nothing
 turned up until I opened the settings dialog.

 I took it up in IRC and got this comment:
 <datallah> xake: it looks like the problem is that the stun server field
 isn't being initialized until you open the prefs. dialog

 If you want a "pidgin -d" or anything, just ask.
