 I don't know what your "other end" is, but I have checked that none of my
 other ends get links like this correctly, and also checked in the XMPP
 console that the outgoing message, both in the HTML and the plaintext, was
 wrong.
 Incoming is fine, unless of course it's incoming from another Pidgin which
 is sending out wrong links.
