 I'm experiencing the same problem. I had a Yahoo account and Yahoo buddies
 from a year ago, and those show up fine. Then a few days ago I added a new
 Yahoo account and some new buddies for that account, and they appear as
 "not on server list" (though I can chat with them; however their status is
 not available).

 I'm using Gaim 2.0.0.b6 on Ubuntu Feisty.
