 The icons that show when a buddy comes online or goes offline both use an
 arrow pointing into or our of a door. This makes sense. The icons also use
 color well (green for online, red for offline).

 However, it seems the direction of the arrows could be reversed. In left-
 to-right languages, the "right" direction indicates a positive (going in
 the same direction as text is read), and the left direction implies a
 negative (counter to the text direction.

 Is that insane? Perhaps a better argument would be that "they just *look*
 backwards".
