Comment:

 The status-indicator for away buddies is different from the one used for
 available buddies (http://pidgin.im/~sadrul/ss/emblem.png -- the circle
 with a line through it indicates away status). I agree that this is
 probably not the best solution. And the indicator is somewhat useless if
 the font used doesn't have that glyph. Using colors is a good idea. But
 the problem with using some random color can cause some problems, since
 many people use different colors for foreground/background/dim texts. I
 would like to allow users to be able to specify the 'away-color' in
 ~/.gntrc, the place to use to change the other colors.

 Perhaps we can underline to indicate away-ness, or not. I am not having
 any good ideas for a solution at the moment.
