Comment:

 This is a fresh install of FC5 and a fresh install of Pidgin with no
 plugins (besides the default that come with pidgin). [[br]][[br]]

 Installation Method:
  * Download file http://rpm.pidgin.im/fedora/pidgin.repo
  * Save file into {{{/etc/yum.repos.d/}}}
  * From command line
   * {{{yum install pidgin}}}

 Requested Command:
 {{{
 $ rpm -qa pidgin\* libpurple\* purple\*
 libpurple-2.0.1-0.fc5
 pidgin-2.0.1-0.fc5
 }}}
