Comment:

 In X, the more common way (I have no idea if that's true or not) to
 copy/paste is to select text to copy and middle-click to paste. Since
 closing the window obviously gets rid of the selection, you wouldn't
 expect that kind of paste to work.

 The explicit clipboard copy/paste should work, though, so I'll fix that.
