Comment:

 This goes entirely at odds with the Pidgin concept of one Pidgin per user.
 If you want to do this, you can use the -c command line option to specify
 a different configuration directory, which will keep the accounts and
 preferences entirely separate.  We will not be adding any specific code to
 support this functionality.

 To use a different Pidgin configuration directory, do, e.g.:

 pidgin -c /tmp/pidgin-friend
