 Yes, the font used in Pidgin on Vista is one of the new Microsoft fonts,
 and it's definitely not Lucida Sans Unicode. I haven't changed my font
 setup. There is a Lucida Sans font installed (which might have come with
 another piece of software, like Java), but in Ubuntu I can't see whether
 it supports Unicode.
