 I use Pidgin 2.0.1 with Windows but use the portable 2.0.0 exe-file (it
 works). I have never seen this effect.

 Before I used pidgin, I used the Y! Messenger itself. There was a time
 where the Y! Messenger reconnected very often. I think this was a problem
 of the Yahoo! servers and not of Pidgin.

 Because of that, perhaps Pidgin should reconnect e.g. three times before
 giving up and waiting for a manual reconnection attempt of the user.


 Does someone still have this issue?
