 The default windows language is not detected properly on Windows. The
 description in the
 [http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/Using%20Pidgin#HowdoesPidginforWindowsdeterminewhichlanguagetouse
 FAQ] explains that it uses the language selected at install time but the
 installer no longer allows you to selected the language so it should fall
 back on the default windows locale setting. However, it displays messages
 and menus in English though the Windows locale is different.

 Setting the PIDGINLANG environment variable is a working workaround.
