 I unset CC variable - result is the same. I have downloaded and installed
 latest libgg (I have built it with my existing compiler), re-configured
 pidgin without any options, - when I typing "make" - an error still
 appears.

 # type gcc
 gcc is /usr/sfw/bin/gcc

 #ls -l /usr/local/lib/ | grep -i libgg
