 Nope, pidgin is completely from the RPM in the pidgin.im repo.  I reverted
 the gtk+ and glib back to the rpm.  Even the pidgin executable failed the
 CRC

 warning: the debug information found in
 "/usr/lib/debug//usr/bin/pidgin.debug" does not match "/usr/bin/pidgin"
 (CRC mismatch).
