 Seems to be a simple matter of moving the PKG_CHECK_MODULES to within the
 {{{if test "x$enable_gst" != "xno"; then ... fi}}}. This is what the
 D-Bus/Mono/other checks seems to do. I'll attach a patch which seems to
 fix the problem for me (but who really understands !AutoConf?)
