Comment:

 The fact that Yahoo! doesn't connect behind an HTTP proxy is covered in
 bug #496.  Are you having problems with other protocols, too?  What is the
 server name or IP address and port number of the proxy server?  Are you
 able to access https websites through the proxy server when using a web
 browser?
