 Try this:
 1. Edit your Google Talk account
 2. Go to the "Advanced" tab
 3. Enable "Force old (port 5223) SSL"
 4. Set the connect port to 443
 5. Set the connect server to talk.google.com

 If that doesn't work and you have port 80 open, then you can try disabling
 old SSL, setting the connect port to 80, the connect host to
 talk.google.com, and the proxy type to "No proxy."

 For MSN, the "Use HTTP Method" option should probably be enabled.  I don't
 know why it doesn't work for you--it works for me.  Is it possible that
 your company is specifically blocking access to the MSN servers?  Are you
 able to connect with an official MSN client?  Do you know the name of the
 software being used as the HTTP proxy?
