 The official aim client converts :-p to a smiley. not just :-P.
 Interestingly, when :-p is sent from the official aim client to a pidgin
 user the smiley is converted to an icon, but pidgin does not change the
 ones that it sends. Official aim client produces a slightly tilted tongue
 smiley for a received :-p or :-P compared to the one it produces when
 sending it self.

 seeing this in 2.0.1 and 2.1.0 mtn
