Comment:

 Closing because this isn't a bug report, feature request, or patch.

 There is no standard IDE for developing Pidgin.  I think most of us just
 use a text editor (vim, emacs, nano, gedit, etc) and other command line
 tools (grep, ls, make, etc).  For debugging we use gdb, ddd and valgrind.
 For windows debugging drmingw is used.
