 I was on vacation on Friday so I could not check my contacts until today.
 Yet it appears that 4 days later, one of my contacts became "not on server
 list" again :(

 I know this contact connects both from home and from work with the same id
 which could be a clue to find out what the problem is.

 I personnaly also used to connect both from home and work with the same id
 but I do no longer in the past few months.

 The others contacts I had fixed with your workaround are still fine.

 So unless Yahoo! still has some problems with their servers, there is
 still any issue in pidgin...

 It may badly detect when a contact connects from two different points ?
