 As has already been mentioned in this ticket, Pidgin does not request
 focus for its windows; it simply creates them.  If new windows are
 "stealing" focus, it is a deficiency in your window manager.  Windows'
 (complete lack of) window management falls into the deficient category.
 For X11 applications, it is not the application's responsibility to manage
 its own windows; this is the entire point of a window manager existing.  I
 realize that on Windows applications are expected to manage their own
 windows, but I don't see the point of implementing a ton of Windows-
 specific hacks when we already don't/won't hack around the stupid X11
 window managers.
